Rack gear is expensive. Every bump in the truck, every kerb and every dock plate sends a jolt straight through to your amps, processors and wireless. A shock mount rack soaks that up, but only while the isolators are in good nick.
This is the rubber and steel isolator that sits between the inner rack frame and the outer case on our 19" shock mount systems. Use it to replace a worn or perished mount, or to beef up a rack that's carrying more weight than it used to.
Running heavy gear? Double up. Fit two isolators to one bracket and you spread the load across both. You get more weight capacity and better shock absorption at that mounting point. It's a simple upgrade if your rack is full of power amps or other heavy units, or if it spends a lot of time on the road.
Each kit includes one steel mounting bracket, one isolator and two M6 screws. Buying two to double up? You'll have a spare bracket, which is worth keeping in the workshop.
