Most big hard cases are long and narrow. That’s fine for tripods and light stands, but not for gear that’s wide: a compact mixer, a lighting fixture, a drone with its arms out, or a bundle of kit you want packed side by side instead of end to end.

The Titan AV 66L Wheeled Hard Case [6060A] has a near-square interior: 510mm long, 530mm wide and 245mm high (45mm in the lid, 200mm in the base). That’s 66 litres of usable space, and it’s wide enough to lay 19-inch (483mm) rack gear flat with foam either side. Outside, it measures 600 x 600 x 290mm.

The shell is lightweight FX-2PP polypropylene, IP67-rated against water and dust. TUFF latches close it down, each with a 7mm padlock hole. A pressure equalisation valve lets you open the lid easily after a flight or a big change in temperature.

At this size, you won’t want to carry it far. Recessed polyurethane wheels and a retractable handle let you roll it from the vehicle to the venue, and grip handles take care of the lift.

Inside, pre-cubed diced foam pulls apart by hand, so you shape the cavities to your gear without buying a separate insert. Built for AV crews and production companies, and just as useful for mining, government, defence and corporate teams moving bulky, sensitive equipment.
